Our Pricing Team is responsible for analyzing and setting the sales and retail prices across the entire ABOUT YOU assortment. The team manages the product portfolio based on key KPIs and develops targeted pricing strategies. In doing so, they continuously optimize all pricing processes and tools, create regular forecasts and analyses, and make a key contribution to achieving our overall business goals. The overarching mission: to always offer our customers competitive and attractive prices in the online shop, driven by smart and effective pricing logic.As a (Junior) Pricing Manager (m/f/d), you will analyze and manage sales prices across more than 20 markets. You’ll also be responsible for implementing ABOUT YOU’s strategy with regard to pricing aspects in go-to-market initiatives and competitive analyses. In this role, you’ll provide valuable business insights to various stakeholders and contribute to the further development of a machine learning algorithm for price optimization.
Responsibilities
1. Operative management of pricing based on internal KPIs, competitive position, and ABOUT YOU’s strategic goals across more than 20 markets
2. Analysis of assortment performance and derivation of concrete optimization measures
3. Collaboration with the Pricing Engine Team to further develop a machine learning algorithm for price optimization, as well as coordination with other departments
4. Identification and development of innovative projects to strengthen our pricing strategies
5. Creation and continuous improvement of reports and dashboards to monitor relevant KPIs
6. Improvement and implementation of automated pricing processes
7. Execution of A/B tests to evaluate the effects of various discount strategies on performance
Requirements
8. Successfully completed degree in economics, business administration, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus
9. 1–4 years of experience in pricing, controlling, or analytics, ideally in the fashion or e-commerce sector
10. Strong analytical skills and excellent numerical understanding
11. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
12. Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
13. Basic experience with SQL is an advantage
