Job Description:
In this position, you will report directly to the Manager Systems Engineering and be part of the Software and System Architecture team. As a Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Embedded Systems, you will contribute to the design and development of software components while ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.
You will work in a dedicated, international, and open-minded team of approximately 10 colleagues within an innovative and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement software components in an embedded environment, contributing to innovative automotive products
2. Verify software components at unit level to ensure high quality and reliability
3. Support customer feature requests and analyze as well as resolve defect reports
4. Work with modern Ethernet networking technologies in a forward-looking technical environment
5. Take on challenging and diverse tasks within a collaborative and inspiring team
Requirements/Qualifications:
6. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
7. Experience in embedded software development
8. Strong programming skills in C/C++
9. Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
10. Interest in digital signal processing (DSP) methods and their practical application
11. Ideally, experience in implementing and optimizing DSP algorithms (e.g., filters) on embedded systems using C/C++
12. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
