We are looking to hire an (Associate) Medical Director or Global Clinical Lead (f / m / d) Oncology in a permanent, full-time or close to full-time (approx. 32 hours/week) position. Our location is Ladenburg near Heidelberg, with options for remote work and regular visits to Ladenburg.
What awaits you :
As Medical Director / Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing scientific leadership throughout the clinical trial process. This includes analyzing clinical data, preparing presentations, manuscripts, summaries, and relevant clinical documents such as protocols, publications, reports, and concept sheets.
You will play a key role in coordinating between teams, offering expertise to the clinical operations team, and participating in cross-functional project teams. You will serve as a subject matter expert in clinical and non-clinical drug development and engage with national regulatory authorities.
Your responsibilities also include interacting with key opinion leaders, investigators, and consultants, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like ICH-GCP, and contributing to the Clinical Development Plan, including FiH and PoC strategies.
What we look for in you :
* You hold a Medical Degree, Pharmacology degree, or a relevant Life Science Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in clinical development roles such as study scientist, study physician, medical director, or medical monitor.
* You have experience in Oncology or Oncohematology.
* You possess a good understanding of clinical drug development, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and GCP.
* You are assertive, process-driven, solution-oriented, and capable of working effectively in various team settings.
* You have strong organizational and planning skills, with excellent communication abilities (written and spoken). You value independent, structured, and precise work.
* You are fluent in Business and Medical English; German language skills are an advantage.
