Single Quantum is expanding its German R&D hub located on the Stuttgart University campus and is looking for a Research Leader that organizes and guides its cutting-edge research projects.
What you will be doing
You organize and guide cutting edge research projects and develop the next generation of ultra-low jitter and high quantum efficiency superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) in close alignment with stakeholders and research project partners. You ensure that research project goals and business objectives are met and scientific results are transferred into valuable products. This includes timely reporting of scientific results and administrative figures to public funding agencies as well as managing progress with the team.

Your profile
* Above average ability to quickly understand experimental physics and RF engineering problems
* Proven ability to guide researchers and manage research projects
* Ability to understand business objectives and convert scientific results into valuable products
* Strong inter-personal skills
* Experience with cryogenic and / or RF electronics is a plus
* Experience with femtosecond Lasers is a plus
* Postdoc level experience in experimental physics or electrical engineering
