We are looking for a Domain Architect in the IT domain for one of our clients in Luxembourg.
* Position based in Luxembourg with a hybrid work model
* Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
* English fluent is mandatory
* Experience in IT architecture in a banking environment is required
Your responsibilities
Domain / Hub‑Architecture
* You will collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to understand the business vision and reflect it in the architectural direction.
* You will define target architectures that are technically and economically viable.
* You will ensure that delivery artefacts remain aligned with the target architecture.
* You will review and approve Solution Blueprints and other relevant deliverables.
* You will ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and support sustainable system evolution.
* You will prepare options and manage exception requests when deviations are needed.
* You will oversee application lifecycle topics and help reduce architectural debt.
Planning
* You will work with global domain architects, system architects, shared services, system teams and enterprise architects on the architectural approach and capability roadmap.
* You will contribute to QBR preparation and support the definition of high‑level objectives for PI planning.
* You will consolidate findings into PI solution objectives and ensure alignment across technical directions.
* You will support teams in defining features and breaking them into stories.
Collaboration
* You will identify risks linked to deviations or innovation and collaborate with discipline architects to address them.
* You will work with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to keep architecturales directions consistent with system intent.
* You will collaborate with suppliers to understand technical characteristics of their solutions and support their integration into the architecture.
Your profile
* You are a graduate with a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, bringing the academic background required for the role.
* You are experienced as an architect in the IT and/or financial sector, allowing you to operate confidently in this environment.
* You are comfortable in client‑facing situations as well as internal communication, enabling clear and effective exchanges.
* You are proficient in written and verbal communication, which helps you convey architectural topics precisely.
* You are organised, attentive to detail and able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
* You are used to working with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and JIRA.
* You are analytical and critical in your approach, supporting informed architectural decisions.
* You are fluent in English, with additional languages such as German or French considered a plus.
* You are possibly familiar with Temenos solutions (T24 and/or Triple'A), which is regarded as an advantage.
