We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Tooling to join a team in Dahlewitz for our client in the aerospace industry near Berlin.
As part of a team that supports the entire lifecycle of civil engines, your focus will be on the development of special tools for business jet engines. You will be responsible for defining the required tooling, managing its procurement, and ensuring both its quality and on-time delivery.

Your tasks
10. Define tooling specification in line with customer requirements
11. Select tooling suppliers, request for quotations
12. Manage tooling suppliers: on-time delivery and quality of design and manufacturing
13. Delivery of tooling to customers, ensure successful design validation
14. Manage tooling drawings and 3D models: creation, changes and archiving within TeamCenter
15. Supply tooling documentation (Operations, Maintenance, Storage and Disposal Manual - OMSD, risk analysis, stress calculation, proof load test diagrams, certificates, etc.)
16. Support tooling storage, preservation and scrapping in cooperation with the storage department
17. Project management of tooling design and procurement (track progress of jobs, manage communications and budget)
Your profile
18. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
19. Proven ability to read technical drawings; 3D modeling knowledge is advantageous
20. Strong data-analysis and problem-solving skills
21. Strong written and verbal communication skills
22. Proven track record in project management
23. Exposure to non-core project management roles such as purchasing, commercial, engineering, assembly and test, etc.
24. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with peers and senior management
25. Fluent spoken and written English, basic German knowledge required (B1)
26. Skilled in the use of Teamcenter / NX
