Construction Quality Manager – Job Description
* Implement, maintain, and supervise the Construction Quality Plan throughout the construction phase of the Project.
* Prepare Project specific quality procedures, as required.
* Assure compliance with Contract quality requirements, detect non-complying performance areas, and monitor their resolutions by the responsible Project team and management personnel.
* Review, analyze and offer resolution for non-conforming materials / items.
* Review and approve Contractor procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) or designate them to responsible persons.
* Implement and coordinate project specific specialized procedures including maintenance, surveillance, and oversight of the corrective action systems.
* Assist in the selection, training, development, and supervision of Quality inspection personnel.
* Perform various Quality reporting activities.
* Support Construction in the development, communication, and monitoring of Quality priorities.
* Participate in the safety process.
* Coordinate inspection and test groups.
* Liaison with client QA representatives.
* Monitor the quality of procured materials and components.
* Review and control permanent quality records.
* Responsible for the approval of inspection and test packages for all systems.
* Responsible for the assembly of QA / QC documents
* Supervise & direct Third-Party Inspection contracts.
* Provide data as needed for the monthly and final Project reports. Review of construction Contractor quality deliverable required after Contract award
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Experience with working QA in new construction projects in Germany
* Fluent in both German & English language
* Minimum of 15 years’ Quality Management experience
* Experience in Quality management systems implementation, audit, analysis and improvement
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Must be proactive and possess good organizational, communication and inter-personnel skills

* * Practical experience and knowledge of:
* National and international manufacturing codes and specifications
* Destructive and non-destructive testing methods;
* Manufacturing techniques and processes;
* Quality Assurance and Quality Control specifications, systems and practices;
* Successful completion of ISO9001:2015 Lead Assessor training course
