Technical Lead - Energy Transition
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Technical Lead to join our growing Energy Transition team in Germany. The successful candidate will drive growth and excellence across our energy portfolio, particularly within electrical grid modernization, energy generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and heat networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead energy projects, organize and supervise technical delivery in Germany.
* Ensure technical excellence, including skills and capabilities development.
* Grow business development activities to expand AECOM's energy transition portfolio.
* Define and execute clear project and program delivery strategies.
* Oversee the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in High Voltage Electrical Engineering. They will also possess strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical systems and proven experience delivering complex energy projects within the German energy sector. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with authorities, network operators, contractors, and suppliers are essential.
