Job Description
The Validation Engineer (f/m/d) plays an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
1. Collaborate effectively with multiple engineering disciplines, including applications, physical failure analysis, design, test, planning, and quality to ensure comprehensive product validation.
2. Lead and execute electrical failure analysis of returned materials (RMA), providing crucial insights for product improvement and customer satisfaction.
3. Rigorously validate the implementation of tests and drive test improvements on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
4. Conduct thorough post-silicon evaluation and validation of devices, contributing to the overall product reliability and performance.
5. Provide expert failure analysis support for Custom Silicon and Application-specific Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs), ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues.
6. Deliver comprehensive application, validation, and implementation support to product teams, facilitating seamless product development and deployment.
7. Orchestrate and manage critical interactions between design, test, product, and quality engineering teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in product development processes.
8. Produce and deliver high-quality, detailed status and analysis reports to customers, quality engineering teams, and management, ensuring clear communication of technical findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
9. A university degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a closely related field is essential.
10. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
11. Demonstrated expertise in system or mixed signal device evaluation and validation is crucial.
12. In-depth understanding of chip-level circuit implementation is necessary.
13. Advanced skills in failure analysis and fault isolation are imperative.
14. Proven ability to provide comprehensive silicon evaluation results that deliver actionable insights and facilitate critical decision-making.
15. Expertise in providing authoritative guidance related to RMA material failure analysis and ATE test coverage enhancements is required.
16. Demonstrated capacity to effectively resolve complex issues arising from interdisciplinary interactions.
17. Strong results orientation with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes under stringent deadlines is essential.
18. Fluency in written and verbal English is mandatory, along with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
