For our Operations Team, we are looking for a (Senior) Event Operations Manager (m/f/d). The Proske Operations Team is the organizational core of our diverse event projects. Our organizational talents take on a wide range of operational tasks and contribute significantly to the success of the events. Your workplace can be in one of our offices in the centre of Rosenheim or at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich, or you can work flexibly from home.

What makes your day an event
1. Actively handle your own operational (sub-) projects for different event formats as an organizational talent.
2. Demonstrate strong people skills in participant management and in contact with service providers (e.g., hotel chains, restaurants).
3. Manage invitations, participants, and registrations effectively, keeping an eye on the project timeline.
4. Conduct research activities and obtain quotes from hotels, restaurants, and suppliers.
5. Engage in contract negotiations with suppliers to understand rates, cancellation conditions, etc.
6. Prepare and analyze reports as part of project controlling throughout the project.
7. Travel to (inter-)national events and provide competent on-site support to participants.
Qualifications
* University degree or apprenticeship in event management, project management, tourism, hotel management, or similar.
* Relevant professional experience in the operational implementation of meetings & events, hotel industry, tourism, or travel industry.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and event-related software (e.g., Cvent).
* Solid knowledge in contract management.
* Knowledge of current trends in the event industry.
* Business fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
