To strengthen our Regulatory Affairs team, we are looking for a professional, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Regulatory Manager - Food Supplements (m/f/d). In this role, you will lead regulatory strategy and compliance for Sirio’s European business, ensuring that products, documentation, and processes meet EU and UK regulatory requirements across gummies, softgels, powders, and innovative formats. This role provides expert guidance to internal teams and customers, anticipates regulatory changes, and ensures that Sirio’s manufacturing sites are prepared for upcoming requirements. It plays a central role in supporting Retail, GAM, and strategic customer accounts with timely, accurate, and proactive regulatory support, while also representing Sirio EU in regulatory bodies and industry associations to help shape emerging policies impacting the sector.
The Role/Responsibilities:
* Lead EU/UK regulatory strategy across Sirio’s product categories, ensuring compliance with supplement, claims, labeling, and ingredient regulations
* Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, standards bodies, and key industry associations; represent Sirio in relevant forums and contribute to initiatives that support the supplement category and the sector’s interests
* Monitor, interpret, and communicate upcoming regulatory changes, providing early warnings and impact assessments to internal teams and ensuring manufacturing sites remain aligned with EU standards
* Conduct regulatory assessments of Sirio-owned ingredients and technologies, including evaluations of Novel Food status and other compliance considerations
* Provide regulatory documentation required by Retail customers and key accounts (PLM systems, technical dossiers, allergen forms, compliance statements)
* Advise Product Management and R&D on the feasibility of new product concepts, ingredients, and claims in alignment with EU regulatory frameworks
* Conduct and oversee label reviews, claims substantiation assessments, and regulatory risk evaluations for NPD projects and customer submissions
* Support Sales and Commercial teams with regulatory expertise during customer meetings and new project scope
* Develop and maintain regulatory intelligence tools, internal guidance documents, and training materials for cross-functional teams
* Work closely with the existing Regulatory Manager to ensure aligned regulatory strategy, coordinated workflows, and consistent support across the EU business, providing senior-level guidance on complex regulatory matters
Profile/Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition, Food Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field
* 7–10+ years of regulatory experience in food supplements, nutraceuticals, or FMCG
* Deep knowledge of EU and UK regulatory frameworks covering supplements, claims, labeling, ingredients, and Novel Foods
* Strong ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical guidance for technical and commercial teams
* Experience supporting major retailers or branded customers strongly preferred
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across global, cross-functional environments
* Confident presenting regulatory positions to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

* Comfortable navigating complex regulatory challenges and evolving requirements
* Thrives in a collaborative environment and brings a senior-level perspective to regulatory decision-making
* Fluency in English is required; any other European language is a plus
* Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany
