In this position, you will report directly to our Founder and take ownership of both the operational backbone of HR and the cultural development of SPREAD. You will manage a small team while remaining hands-on and proactive yourself.
Ensure that all core HR operations are reliable, compliant, and scalable. This includes payroll, compensation processes, documentation, and compliance with German labor law.
Lead HR systems and data management, leveraging process automation and digitalization to enable scalability. By embedding people analytics and actionable dashboards, you will deliver real insights that influence business outcomes and inform leadership decision-making.
Oversee event, office, and vendor management, ensuring that our Berlin HQ remains a functional and welcoming environment.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership, bringing not only HR expertise but also organizational transformation perspectives that help teams improve effectiveness.
Drive performance management end-to-end, from structured goal-setting to feedback loops and development planning, ensuring the process fuels individual growth and business impact rather than bureaucracy.
Contribute to career frameworks and organizational development initiatives, building structures that enable growth, agility, and accountability.
Design and deliver leadership development and learning programs, making sure our people have the skills and capabilities to meet future challenges.
3+ years of experience gained in a top consultancy or advisory practice where you focused on HR transformation, organizational development, or people-driven change.
~ A proven ability to move from strategy to execution, ensuring that initiatives are embedded and deliver tangible impact, not just well-designed slides.
~ Breadth of HR knowledge across operations, compliance, performance management, talent development, and culture, with the ability to identify gaps and proactively put scalable solutions in place.
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, enabling you to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
~ A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach, with the stamina to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational needs.
