We are seeking a subject matter expert in the field of Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanisms to join our Customs team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of international business transactions and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and assessing EU regulations and drafting proposals
* Evaluating the impact of regulations on global trade
* Identifying companies that need to register under CBAM regulations and initiating necessary registrations
* Developing and implementing CBAM strategies for BASF aligning with organizational goals
* Managing the CBAM community across operational, service, and corporate levels
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in commerce, logistics, taxation, or comparable field
* Several years of experience in Supply Chain
* Solid knowledge of international business transactions
* Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
