About the LCSB

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is an interdisciplinary research centre of the University of Luxembourg.
We conduct fundamental and translational research in the field of Systems Biology and Biomedicine - in the lab, in the clinic and in silico . We focus on neurodegenerative processes and are especially interested in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease and their contributing factors. The LCSB recruits talented scientists from various disciplines: computer scientists, mathematicians, biologists, chemists, engineers, physicists and clinicians from more than 50 countries currently work at the LCSB. We excel because we are truly interdisciplinary, and together we contribute to science and society.
Your role
Identify and engage new participant groups across Luxembourg, who are interested in promoting sustainability topics within their local communities and companies
Design and adapt educational workshops on sustainability topics, tailored to adult learners, with a strong focus on didactic principles and practical hands on experiments
Coordinate and conduct hands-on workshops for adults, acting as the primary trainer and facilitator
Evaluate existing workshops Interpret feedback and data to assess impact and effectiveness
Continuously improving activities based on evaluation outcomes and the latest scientific research
Foster national and international collaborations with relevant partners and stakeholders
Prepare funding applications and project reports for submission to funding agencies
Your profile
Master's degree in physics, environmental engineering, sustainability or a related field
Strong scientific knowledge around the topic sustainability in regards to the natural sciences addressed
Strong interest and motivation to contribute to sustainability education and outreach
Proven experience in science communication, public outreach, or teaching activities
Solid project management and organizational abilities
High level of autonomy and problem-solving skills, especially in complex and multidimensional contexts
Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, potentially with varying interests
Fluency in French and English are required; knowledge of Luxembourgish and German is considered an asset
