As part of the planned carve-out of the Business Unit ZEISS Hunting & Nature, a new, independent company is being created. Recruitment will be carried out through ZEISS. The employment itself will be with the independent company that is currently being established.
Your Role
The Birding Marketing Manager (m/f/x) Hunting & Nature is responsible for executing high-quality marketing initiatives for birding and outdoor products, ensuring brand consistency and market relevance globally and regionally.
1. Lead the development process for marketing assets, ensuring brand integrity and consistency, and manage timelines, feedback, and approvals.
2. Collaborate with agencies to create on-brand communication assets and develop localized versions of global assets, along with sales enablement tools and product education materials.
3. Plan and execute strategies for new product launches, coordinate with various teams for global alignment, and assist with market research and competitive analysis.
4. Ensure consistent brand execution, support performance tracking, and manage marketing budgets for projects and segments.
5. Work cross-functionally with various teams, support collaborations with influencers, and participate in sales meetings and training programs to drive authentic storytelling and product adoption.
Your Profile
6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
7. Several years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or campaign execution roles.
8. Proven experience managing marketing projects from concept to execution, including timelines and budgets.
9. Excellent attention to detail with a structured, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
11. Experience with product launches and go-to-market execution.
12. Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools, platforms, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
13. Foundational analytical skills, including performance tracking and reporting.
14. Familiarity with the outdoor, hunting, optics, or related enthusiast-driven industries.
15. Willingness to travel as required.
16. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
