OVERALL EXPECTATIONS OF THE POSITION Technology Engineering Expert to lead and optimize the production of pasteurized sausage products. This role combines deep technical expertise in food processing with engineering principles to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, oversee equipment and process design, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. B.JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Contributes to FINANCIAL goals Optimize equipment usage to reduce cost-per-unit and energy consumption. Develop process innovations that yield higher throughput with minimal waste. Support ROI analysis for new machinery and automation investments. Minimize downtime and production losses through engineering reliability. 2. Contributes to CUSTOMER goals Ensure consistent production of high-quality, safe, pasteurized sausages that meet or exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to reduce consumer complaints and improve satisfaction scores. Contribute to product innovation that enhances shelf life and market appeal. Provide technical expertise in responding to key customer quality audits 3.Contributes to INTERNAL PROCESS goals Lead design and optimization of sausage pasteurization processes (thermal processing, packaging, hygiene controls). Conduct root-cause analysis of production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Maintenance) to improve line efficiency. Establish and monitor KPIs such as OEE, microbial load reduction, and cycle time adherence. 4.Contributes to LEARNING & GROWTH goals Train technical staff on operating specialized pasteurization systems and quality protocols. Stay updated with global best practices in thermal food processing and regulatory compliance. Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, including conferences and technical forums. Foster an innovation culture by mentoring junior engineers and encouraging process improvement suggestions C. JOB REQUIREMENT Bachelor/ Master Degree/Ph.D in Food Engineering, Mechanical Enginnering or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in meat processing, preferably with pasteurized products Experience with automated sausage filling and casing systems Familiarity with clean-in-place (CIP) systems and hygienic design principles Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certification NOTE: RELOCATE TO VIETNAM FOR WORKING
