Senior or Principal Power Electronics Engineer - PV / Photovoltaic / Energy Storage

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will lead the selection and efficiency optimization of advanced power topologies, utilizing precise simulation modeling to minimize losses in highly compact power supply modules. This role sits at the forefront of innovation, where you will develop new concepts and patents for DC-DC converters specifically focusing on magnetics, control schemes, and advanced modulation strategies. Beyond internal R&D, you will act as a key technical liaison, building and sustaining strategic partnerships with premier industrial institutions and universities across Europe to maintain a competitive technological edge.
This is a permanent position, based on-site in Nuremberg, Germany.
For this Senior / Principal Power Electronics Engineer position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following:
* Masters or PhD degree in either Power Electronics or Electronic Engineering
* Ideally 5+ years of industry experience but open to lower if you have a PhD
* Experience in power converters / DC-DC
* Experienced in power electronics converter topologies, control, modulation and algorithms
* Knowledge/experience in PV / Photovoltaic
