Our research team in the Experimental and Translational Ophthalmology Department at the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz has extensive experience in basic research in the field of Ophthalmology. We are interested in understanding the underlying mechanisms leading to retinal and ocular surface diseases, such as Dry Eye Disease, AMD and Glaucoma. We offer a Master Thesis position in Biomedicine and Bioinformatics. The research will focus on clinical and proteomic data in ophthalmic diseases, including glaucoma, longitudinal analyses, as well as lateral flow and microarray data analyses.
