HSE Officer to join our clients team in Oldenburg, Germany to begin working on an offshore cabling project. Our client is looking for anyone with offshore or near-shore experience.
Working with their HSE Manager the role will be to support the client through a complete engineering and design phase (roughly until summer 2026) and then work through the execution phase for near shore and offshore works, roughly from July 2026 to September/October 2026.
START: October 2025 (Immediate)
LOCATION: Oldenburg (Germany) / Site Based (North East NL / North West DE)
CONTRACT: 12 months
Specification:
* 3 years' experience as a HSE Officer
* German health and safety qualification – SiFa, NEBOSH or similar
* German Speaking (essential)
* Offshore or Near-Shore Projects experience
* Ideal working history would be with offshore EPC/service companies
October 2025 to July 2026 – Engineering Phase
The company is acting as a project offshore partner for an end client, the role would be to support the epc company in writing procedures, setting up safety systems, safety audits for policy and third party partner companies.
July 26 – September/October 26 – Execution Phase
HSE support in the field, pre-mobilisation, mobilisation offshore, safety training and site based safety checking and auditing.
The client is looking to interview and offer candidates over the next two weeks, they have the opportunity to join the projects team in October.
