Now we’re looking for a Head of Buying (B2B) to continue to grow and lead our sourcing efforts. Buying e-bikes is at the core of our business, and you will lead the team responsible for the B2B vertical and unlocking new growth opportunities with retailers, leasing providers, fleets, and more.
Your Mission
As Head of Buying (B2B), you’ll take full ownership of our B2B sourcing strategy in Germany from building the first playbooks to growing a high-performing team and scaling our partnerships across the DACH region.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing our B2B go-to-market strategy
* Owning the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing deals
* Building and leading a powerful B2B sales team
* Identifying and managing strategic partnerships (big retailers, manufacturers, leasing, fleet)
* Negotiating contracts and deals, fighting hard to get the best conditions for Upway while maintaining longlasting relations with partners
* Tracking and improving core KPIs: pipeline velocity, ROI, win rates, retention
* Creating scalable processes, CRM flows, and sales operations
* Working closely with our marketing, ops and product teams – locally and globally
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, entrepreneurial drive, and deep experience in B2B sales. You’re a builder, a closer, and a leader.
Ideally, you bring:
* 5+ years in B2B Buying, ideally in e-mobility, SaaS, logistics, or leasing
* Experience leading teams or building sales structures from scratch
* Strong negotiation skills and a consultative selling style
* Analytical and data-driven mindset (CRM, KPIs, Funnel)
* Fluent English and preference for fluent in German
* A passion for sustainability, mobility, or circular economy
