To ensure the long-term sustainability of its activities, the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS) is recruiting a Project Officer to contribute to the coordination of the IAS projects and initiatives connected to the activities of the IAS.
As a Project Officer in IAS (Institute for Advanced Studies), you will primarily support the management and implementation of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) COFUND project for doctoral recruitment at the University of Luxembourg's Institute for Advanced Studies.
Coordinating the flow of PhD project applications and linking candidates with potential supervisors in compliance with EU rules
Handling high volumes of international applications, ensuring timely, accurate communication with candidates, supervisors, and internal stakeholders
Supporting internal IAS calls and workshops and collaborating daily with the project manager and administrative colleagues
Additionally, you will support the coordination of IAS internal funding instruments, including calls for projects, application procedures, evaluation processes, and follow-up activities, while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance with internal guidelines.
Previous experience in project management, recruitment, or HR administration, ideally in an academic or research setting
MS Office, document management tools
Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
