We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Service Technician with specialized hands-on expertise in the service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photolithography equipment, including steppers and scanners. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our clients within the semiconductor manufacturing industry by ensuring optimal equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and providing expert-level technical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform installation, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of photolithography equipment, including advanced steppers and scanners from major OEMs (e.g., ASML, Nikon, Canon).
* Analyze and resolve complex equipment issues, providing root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
* Collaborate directly with customer engineering and maintenance teams to optimize system performance and uptime.
* Maintain detailed service logs, documentation, and reports in compliance with company and industry standards.
* Provide technical training and mentorship to junior technicians and client staff as needed.
* Support equipment upgrades and retrofits, ensuring minimal production disruption.
* Interface with OEM support and engineering teams to resolve advanced technical challenges.
* Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, cleanroom protocols, and EHS regulations.
Required Qualifications
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
* Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on experience servicing photolithography tools, including steppers and scanners.
* Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments.
* In-depth knowledge of optical systems, precision mechanics, robotics, pneumatics, and control systems.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
* Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
