These include passenger information systems, passenger counting devices, and on-board computer systems. The entire product development process—from design and hardware and software to manufacturing—takes place in-house. MG devices are used in thousands of vehicles worldwide. Your tasks: Development of modern visualizations with Qt/QML – in particular design and layout Implementation of application logic in C++/QML Close collaboration with embedded and backend developers Direct communication with customers to understand requirements, design ideas, and functional goals Advising customers on UI/UX best practices, readability, usability, and technical feasibility Participation in architecture design and technical decisions What you should bring to the table: In-depth experience in Qt/QML and C++ Successfully completed degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Media Informatics, Multimedia, Human-Computer Interaction, or comparable fields Alternatively: Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for application development) with relevant, verifiable professional experience Enjoyment of not only programming interfaces, but also designing them An eye for detail: pixels, spacing, animations Experience in connecting external interfaces (VDV301, ITxPT, REST/JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.) using C++/Qt and efficient data processing.
