Solutions Engineer

We seek a Solutions Engineer to guide our customers in migrating legacy applications to microservices and the cloud. You will design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions, working closely with customer development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
* Design and architect cloud-native solutions, focusing on microservices architecture.
* Evaluate existing legacy applications and develop migration strategies to the cloud.
* Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
* Define best practices for cloud adoption, security, and performance optimization.
Customer Engagement & Collaboration:
* Work closely with customer development teams to understand their requirements and challenges.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship on cloud technologies and microservices.
* Lead workshops and presentations to educate customers on architectural patterns and best practices.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Technology & Implementation:
* Select and integrate appropriate cloud services and technologies for customer solutions.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure management.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
* Fluent in German. Good English writing and speech.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Proven experience in software architecture with a focus on cloud and microservices.
* Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with designing and migrating legacy applications to the cloud
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, )
* Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL) and data structures
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
