M365 Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)
Brief Description
The M365 Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of Microsoft 365 cloud services, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Planner, M365 Copilot, and Exchange Online. This role ensures seamless collaboration, secure information management, and high availability of digital workplace solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, M365 Copilot, and Exchange Online.
* Implement and maintain governance, compliance, and security policies for M365 environments.
* Develop and optimize collaboration solutions, workflows, and document management systems using SharePoint Online and Teams.
* Manage user provisioning, permissions, and lifecycle management across all M365 services.
* Support the integration of M365 Copilot and automation tools to enhance productivity and digital workflows.
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and performance issues related to M365 applications.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored M365 solutions.
* Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to end users and IT colleagues.
* Monitor service health, usage, and adoption, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA, ISO
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration and engineering, with a focus on SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, M365 Copilot, and Exchange Online.
* Strong hands-on experience with M365 administration, PowerShell scripting, and automation.
* Deep knowledge of collaboration, document management, and workflow automation in M365.
* Experience with security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, or similar.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Fluent in English, German B2 are an advantage
