Team Lead - Outbound Logistics Operations (m/f/d)

Area of responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop a team of three professionals to optimize outbound logistics processes
2. Management of the B2B Transportation Flow in the EMEA Region: Responsibility for the strategic alignment of the B2B transportation network, including the selection and management of carriers through annual tenders
3. Monitor transportation costs and actively support the annual budgeting process
4. Continuously review and adjust SOPs and SLAs, monitor and report KPIs to ensure the highest standards
5. Ensure smooth daily transportation operations, including organizing special marketing deliveries
6. Accurate and timely invoicing within the scope of outbound logistics
7. Close coordination with warehouse locations to ensure that delivery requirements are met
8. Contribute transportation expertise to the implementation of logistics solutions and actively participate in end-to-end projects
9. Drive continuous improvements and serve as a key user for transportation-related projects across the company, including monitoring and analyzing results
Profile of qualification:
10. Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field
11. Proven experience in leading and developing teams, including succession planning
12. Extensive experience in transportation with a comprehensive understanding of the transport market
13. Familiarity with logistics processes; experience in operational transportation planning is a plus
14. Experience working with WMS/TMS; basic SAP knowledge is advantageous
15. Strong organizational skills and time management to effectively prioritize tasks
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with team members and other departments
17. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
18. High attention to detail and willingness to work with repetitive tasks
19. Proactive, practical work style with a strong solutions-oriented approach
20. Fluent in English, very good German skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
