Job Purpose: Responsible for leading the sales team in the sub-region to ensure the market development and performance for all company products in the European markets and the strategic and operational management of franchise dealers within the market in accordance with regional strategy. Responsible for leading across the functions in the sub-region to ensure alignment and common approach in accordance with the regional strategy. Manages a department of 10 - 15 people with 6 direct reports and a total dealer network size of 40-45 Responsible for up to 25% of the company’s sales performance Collaborates closely with all functions within the business Interfaces as the principal representative of the sub-region with customers, dealers, general managers and staff, VIPs, agencies, trade associations, as well as occasionally with press and media agencies Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provides direction and leadership to the sub-regional team to deliver business objectives and required future change in accordance with the regional strategic plan Manages the overall relationship in the sub-region between dealers and company Ensures effective communication, business planning, discussions and mediation through individual dealer meetings, team meetings and forums, ensuring that all other parties internal and external are included as necessary Leads business compliance within the sub-region in line with corporate or legislative change Supports sub-regional dealer business planning and alignment to overall company goals and business objectives Ensures sub-regional network confidence, support and understanding for the Aston Martin brand directions Oversees implementation of all local in territory marketing activities Establishes and ensures sub-regional dealers operate and report within required Aston Martin standards and processes Attends to individual or team issues, including recruitment, development plans, succession planning, personal issues and general communication throughout the sub-regional team Experience and Qualifications: Degree-level intellect Entrepreneurial flair and vision Ability to communicate at all levels Self-motivation Strong and visionary leader Strong business acumen with financial analysis capability Experience of manufacturer/importer and dealer operations at a senior management level Dimension and Limits of Authority Responsible for sub-regional achievement of profit and gross margin targets Operates within an overall assigned budget (variable marketing and selling) Recruits and recommends employment of team members up to Manager Grade Financial resolution of customer issues GRADE: SM PLEASE NOTE: In addition to English, you will need to be fluent in at least one other major European language.
