Your responsibilities Do you have experience in certification and dealing with machinery directives and would like to use your skills in the introduction of innovative industrial trucks in Europe? Come to EP! What tasks will you be responsible for? You will ensure that the innovative industrial trucks comply with European directives and are thoroughly tested. Some of the tasks associated with the role include: ✅ Ensuring product compliance in accordance with legal regulations (e.g. CE, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, LVD, EMC, Ecodesign Directive, etc.) ✅ Screening suitable sources of information for early detection of relevant new legislative initiatives and changes ✅ Deriving relevant requirements for your own product portfolio and developing possible courses of action ✅ Carrying out conformity assessments and securing the necessary certificates, Functional checks and safety tests on the actual trucks. Your profile ✅ Degree in engineering, e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, process engineering or similar. ✅ Machinery directives are your world. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and conformity assessment procedures. ✅ Practical experience. You are familiar with certifications from practical application, know what the appropriate test procedures look like and are experienced in handling the relevant documentation. ✅ Language skills: You communicate confidently in English – both written and spoken. ✅ Willingness to travel: You are in close contact with the parent company in China and visit the site several times a year. You also regularly visit the locations in Cologne and Erkrath ✅ Flexibility and solution-oriented approach: You are open to change, respond flexibly to new challenges and find solutions in a dynamic, growing company with lots of movement and opportunities.
