The Purpose:
The Data & Analytics team at PPRO acts as a strategic partner to business, tech, and operations teams across all of PPRO. Our mission is to go beyond reporting; we turn PPRO’s data ecosystem into actionable insights that drive key business outcomes and help us put our customers first. We are storytellers and problem-solvers who leverage data to influence tactical and strategic decisions.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about data modeling, providing insights through analysis and dashboards, and sharing their knowledge with stakeholders as well as other data analysts.
What you will do:
o Partner with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify key business questions and define requirements and success metrics for analytical projects
o Take ownership of complex analytical projects from start to finish, from deconstructing ambiguous business problems into structured analytical plans, to presenting impactful, data-driven narratives to stakeholders across different levels
o Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify key insights and opportunities
o Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data models using SQL and dbt, transforming raw data into reliable, well-documented datasets that power our analytics.
o Design, build, and maintain compelling and interactive dashboards and visualizations that communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
o Coach and guide internal data platform users and data analysts on specific projects and best practices, such as SQL optimization, analytical methodology, or dashboard design
What you will bring:
o 5+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or a similar role where you have demonstrated ownership of complex analytical projects
o Expert proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis
o Hands-on experience with data transformation and modeling, proficiency in dbt is a plus
o A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with a large-scale data warehouse (, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
o Experience applying statistical or machine learning models to solve business problems, regression for predictive analysis, forecasting for business planning
o Strong experience with a modern data visualization tool (, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to build dashboards that are both insightful and user-friendly
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders across all levels
o A strong sense of ownership, a solution-oriented mindset, and a passion for making things better through data
