Have you already discovered your passion for event planning and management in all its facets? Then take the next step and join us as Director Event Management (m/f/d). Two brands – endless opportunities!

Your key responsibilities include:

7. Lead and delegate the day-to-day operations of the Event Management team, of approximately ten team members
8. Oversee the planning and operational execution of conventions, meetings, and events for up to 1,200 guests, ensuring flawless delivery and client satisfaction
9. Act as the strategic point of contact for clients during the planning phase, ensuring all details are captured and expectations exceeded
10. Collaborate closely with Convention Sales, Banqueting, and other departments to guarantee seamless coordination and resource allocation
11. Develop and implement event planning standards, timelines, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and guest experience
12. Responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and profitability for planned events, ensuring financial targets are met
13. Drive innovation in event concepts and planning processes to maintain our competitive edge
14. Represent the hotel during site inspections and planning meetings with professionalism and enthusiasm
15. Ensure compliance with brand standards and legal requirements throughout all event operations
16. Train, coach, and develop your team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
17. Report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, contribute to strategic business goals, and share responsibility for budget and forecast creation

Be able.

18. Several years of experience in event planning and management within the hospitality industry, ideally in a leadership role
19. Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail
20. Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
21. Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
22. Proficiency in Opera and other event management systems
23. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure
