Our client is a leading European supplier of innovative packaging and insulation materials. At their site in Halle (Saale) they focus on the production of EPP products (expandable polypropylene) for the automotive and packaging industry.
In this key position, you will assume central responsibility for material control, ensure the plant's ability to deliver and lead your team to success.

Your tasks
5. Professional and disciplinary management and targeted development of the scheduling team.
6. Ensuring material availability: You plan and control the timely scheduling of raw materials, components and purchased parts for production and customer orders.
7. Active inventory management in compliance with range specifications and ensuring efficient and cost-conscious warehousing.
8. Close exchange and interface management with the relevant departments (purchasing, production, logistics and sales).
9. Analyzing requirements, inventories and supply bottlenecks and proactively initiating countermeasures.
10. Continuous optimization of scheduling processes and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), also as part of digitalization projects.
11. Managing and maintaining supplier relationships as the central point of contact (f/m/d) for all scheduling topics.
Your profile
12. Successfully completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training (e.g. business administrator, business economist) or a degree in logistics, supply chain management (SCM) or business administration.
13. Several years of professional experience in scheduling, materials management or supply chain management.
14. Industry knowledge from the manufacturing industry, ideally the automotive industry, is a strong plus.
15. Initial management experience is necessary
16. Very good user knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP or comparable) and confident handling of MS Office.
17. An analytical, proactive and solution-oriented way of working.
