GLOBAL DIRECTOR APPLICATION MANAGEMENT (M/F/D) - BUSINESS DIVISION TEXTILE SOLUTIONS Contract: full-time/ permanent Location: Tübingen Start date: according to agreement YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute as a key member in the global textile management team of the business division textile solutions Hold overall accountability for the global application projects and technical services of the Business Division Manage opportunity and service requests providing accurate and timely results to both the sales team and customers Lead a team of Application Managers, fostering collaboration and standardization of practices across segments, countries, and regions Act as the key representative for all application management technologies of the Business Division, maintaining internal and external relationships including industry associations Ensure clear communication and alignment across departments Contribute to the development of portfolio management and sales strategies, supporting strategic decisions Monitor market dynamics and developments in the application technologies to identify opportunities and potential risks Develop and implement a strategic concept for the regionalization of technical competencies, including a roadmap for gradual implementation aligned with global market requirements, while ensuring effective knowledge transfer between locations YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Degree in textile studies, textile engineering, technical chemistry or equivalent qualification Technical management experience in a medium-sized company environment with international steering, combined with the ability to manage effectively and thoughtfully in a global matrix organization with hands-on approach as required Proven experience in the application of performance chemicals in industrial processes, e.g. dyes and auxiliaries for textiles (apparel, home textile, technical textile) Strong ability to co-operate, co-create, and establish strategies and processes within the management to drive business success collaboratively Inspiration and commitment in leadership with a focus on empowerment through effective communication tailored to people, situations, and desired outcomes Leadership skills and ability to implement organizational, cultural, and business transformations with a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial approach Excellent analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a decisive approach to driving operational initiatives that align with business objectives Business-fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to act confidently across all hierarchy levels Willingness to travel on business internationally SAY YES TO CHT Would you like to shape change and bring about change in an internationally active company?
