Your focus
* You will independently manage data protection and IT security projects in the public sector
* You will conduct risk analyses and data protection impact assessments and create data protection concepts, documentation, and process descriptions
* You will manage project teams and coordinate closely with stakeholders at the ministerial level
* You will coach and develop junior consultants in the field of data protection and IT security (on and off the project)
* You will be involved in portfolio expansion and the preparation of offers and presentations in the field of data protection and IT security
Ready for Detecon?
* Successfully completed degree in business informatics, computer science, administrative informatics, administrative sciences, law, or public policy/public administration; ideally with an IT focus
* Solid knowledge of data protection and IT security (GDPR, BDSG, BSI IT-Grundschutz, ideally ISO 27001), including relevant practical experience, and a strong interest in security and digitization issues in the public sector
* Several years of consulting or implementation experience in data protection and security consulting for public clients in federal and state administrations or in comparable roles within the administration
* Willingness to travel for projects and business fluent German and English skills
