Market Data + Services at Deutsche Börse delivers high-quality, proprietary market data to financial institutions worldwide. Our offering includes data from the Group’s trading platforms Xetra® and Eurex®, as well as from key global partners such as 360T, Kaiko (crypto data), the Santiago, Mexico, Pakistan, and Bombay Stock Exchanges, and TAIFEX.
Our clients—ranging from analysts, algorithmic traders, and banks to hedge funds, asset managers, and market data vendors—rely on our data to make informed trading and investment decisions, manage risk, protect assets, and meet regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a first point of contact for clients - including banks, data vendors, and financial institutions - handling inquiries and issues related to real-time data, reference data, regulatory reporting, and data distribution services.
2. Manage and resolve client inquiries in a structured and timely manner, applying analytical thinking to identify root causes and escalate where appropriate.
3. Handle reference data requests and support customers with questions around clearing reporting, data irregularities, and access to relevant platforms and applications.
4. Build broad operational knowledge across multiple domains and internal systems, enabling you to work flexibly and collaboratively across the full scope of the team's responsibilities.
5. Contribute actively to the team's ongoing evolution toward smarter, more efficient operations - including identifying repetitive tasks or friction points where automation or AI-assisted tooling could add value.
6. Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders across domains, sharing knowledge and supporting a culture of continuous learning and operational improvement.
Your Profile:
7. You hold a degree in Economics, Business, IT, or a related field and bring 1 - 5 years of experience in an operational, data, or client-facing role.
8. You are curious and eager to learn, comfortable picking up new systems, tools, and domains quickly and applying that knowledge in a practical, hands-on way.
9. You have a strong service mindset and take ownership of client inquiries - you follow through, communicate proactively, and care about delivering a quality outcome.
10. You think analytically and can break down complex or ambiguous situations into clear, actionable steps, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate.
11. You are a natural collaborator who enjoys working as part of a team, sharing knowledge openly, and contributing to a positive and reliable working environment.
12. You communicate confidently in English in an international, cross-functional setting and can explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office and ideally have initial experience with Python or SQL - enough to automate a repetitive task, run a data check, or explore a dataset.
14. You are genuinely interested in how AI and automation can make operations smarter and more efficient.
15. Experience with MiFID II, MiFIR, or market data distribution is a plus but not a requirement.
