What is exciting about this role: As the Sales Country Manager for the DACH region, you’ll act as the business owner—driving market share growth, expanding into new segments, and outpacing the competition. You'll create and execute a regional strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with full accountability for commercial success. Leading a high-performing sales team, you’ll coach and develop talent to deliver results, while also maintaining and growing strategic accounts. Collaboration is key— you’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and other teams to align market opportunities and ensure impact. This is more than a sales role— it’s a leadership opportunity to shape the future of FitForMe in the DACH region. Your day-to-day: You’ll lead a team of 4 Product Specialists while driving regional growth through a mix of strategic execution and field engagement. You’ll regularly travel across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—coaching your team, visiting healthcare professionals in the bariatric and obesity sectors, and strengthening key partnerships. Acting as a bridge between local markets and our HQ in Rotterdam, you’ll own regional targets and budget, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and other stakeholders. Your week will blend field visits, team coaching, strategic planning, and participation in sales meetings and international conferences. Staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity will be key to shaping and executing a successful regional strategy. What we’re looking for : Strategic Leadership : You bring at least 8 years of sales experience in pharma or medical devices, with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and develop strategic account plans that drive growth. Sales Excellence : You have a strong track record of exceeding targets and expanding market share in competitive environments. Customer-Centric Mindset : You build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals, adapting your approach to meet their needs and influence outcomes effectively. Hands-On Mentality : Leading a compact team of four Product Specialists, you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and stay closely connected to field activities. Stakeholder Collaboration : You work cross-functionally with global teams—especially Marketing and Product Development—to align regional execution with broader business objectives. Agility and Ownership : With 50–70% travel across DACH, you’re comfortable managing your schedule, prioritizing high-impact activities, and adapting to changing market demands. Influence and Communication : You’re persuasive, confident, and a natural connector—able to inspire both your team and external partners Languages : You have excellent communication skills in German (C2/native level) and English (B1/advanced). Please note the interview process will be conducted entirely in English. Location : You are currently based in the Northwest region of Germany ( e.g. Düsseldorf, Dortmund, or Hannover), ideally situated for effective travel across the DACH region. You’ll score extra points if you have the following: Network in the obesity field. Affinity with health and nutrition; Experience with B2B on-site sales. First Interview – We will discuss your experience and the role in detail. Online Assessment – You will complete a quick online assessment called Management Drive. Case Presentation – We will share a fictive case assignment 3 days before the interview, and we would like you to present your ideas during an online interview. Final Interview – Meet the Chief Commercial Officer & Chief Executive Officer in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and discuss the leadership & strategic fit.
