As an R&D Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in advancing our products and processes – with a strong focus on quality, technical excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Your Responsibilities
* Product and process development: Contribute to the development and optimization of medical devices, especially in the field of PTCA and PTA
* Technical analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and verification testing
* Design and documentation: Create and maintain technical drawings and documents – ideally using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
* Process optimization: Analyze and improve existing development and production processes to increase efficiency
* Validation and qualification: Support equipment qualification and process validation activities
* Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Production, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain
Your Profile
* Degree in a technical field (e.g., Medical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering) or comparable qualification
* First or several years of experience in product development, ideally in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals)
* Proficient in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and MS Office
* Familiar with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR)
* Structured, solution-oriented working style
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good command of both German and English (spoken and written)
