Sandbox Interactive is the ambitious game development studio behind the award-winning game Albion Online. Responsibilities:
* Define and implement a unified technological vision across game development, web development, marketing, data science, and live operations
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals
* Oversee and coordinate technical efforts across departments to ensure alignment, innovation, and efficiency
* Manage the technology budget and resources, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality
* Support and mentor department leaders, fostering collaboration and professional growth
* Ensure robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure for both development and live game operations
* Drive the adoption of DevOps practices to streamline development, deployment, and operations
* Represent the company at industry events, building external relationships and showcasing technological leadership
Your Talent
Minimum Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success, with at least one shipped title on PC or console platforms
* Proven track record in a senior technical leadership role, with experience managing diverse technical teams across multiple domains
* Experience in programming languages and development frameworks (e.g. C++, C#, Java)
* Experience working in a live service business environment
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in multiplayer, live-service, or sandbox game development
* Familiarity with game development
* Experience working in a data and KPI driven environment
* Familiarity with DevOps practices
