We are seeking a highly skilled administrative professional to join our team as a support assistant for the Collaborative Research Center.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily management of the SFB, including organizing and documenting meetings, preparing and editing text documents and presentations, and compiling statistics.


Job Description

The SFB 1709 is a long-term research project that focuses on myeloid malignancies as a model to dissect the various molecular mechanisms that enable and regulate cancer cell plasticity. Our overall goal is to pave the way for new cancer therapies.

We are looking for an administrative assistant to support the speaker of the Collaborative Research Center in the day-to-day management of the project.

* Support the speaker and scientific coordinators in the daily management of the SFB, including organization and documentation of meetings, preparation and editing of text documents and presentations, and compilation of statistics.
* Assist in planning and organization of all activities of the SFB, including data management support, consortium meetings, retreats, colloquia, symposia, and young investigator meetings.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* 5 years experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a research environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with scientists and administrators, experience in working in international contexts.
* Good PC knowledge, including MS Office and Excel.
* Very good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
