Cloud Security Architect
Location: North Rhine-Westphalia
Our client is seeking a skilled Information Security Officer to help shape and secure advanced analytics platforms in a diverse, international team.
In this role you will be vital in ensuring security and compliance for cloud-based solutions, collaborating across internal functions and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Drive and maintain security governance processes, particularly for a Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based analytics environment.
Advise stakeholders on risk management, information security concepts (ISC), and cloud architecture (GCP, Azure, on-prem).
Evaluate technical risks and align with enterprise security frameworks.
Consult on vulnerability management, security posture assessments, and the implementation of appropriate controls.
Support cloud security initiatives, including the migration from on-premises infrastructure to GCP and hardening of Azure environments.
Provide input during architecture and go-live reviews to ensure security requirements are met.
Leverage expertise in Kubernetes, SSDLC, and container security to guide technical decisions.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in security architecture, (Nice to have: Kubernetes security and SSDLC)
Cloud experience (Ideally GCP or Azure)
Solid knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and BSI standards.
Skilled in threat modelling, vulnerability management, and cloud-native security practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in international environments.
