Your role is to build, manage, operate, and continuously improve the database services infrastructure that supports customer-facing applications, back office, and delivery infrastructure in a 7Lead complex workstreams and projects, acting as a mentor (m/f/d) for offshore team members of levels 1 & 2.Manage and support incident, change, and problem management processes to ensure timely responses, providing technical escalations to offshore database teams at levels 1 & 2.Build effective working relationships with service owners and application teams to ensure that technology and process improvements enhance overall service for end customers.Communicate regularly with technical development and operations staff to ensure database integrity, capacity, and security.Define and measure SLAs and KPIs, oversee operational process delivery, and monitor the overall health of the facility and processes.What you'll bringA degree and at least 5-6 years of professional experience in Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Couchbase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other common DB technologies.Experience working in environments where quickly adapting to changing business needs was crucial.Expertise in Oracle RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and experience in developing operational processes for Level 1 and Level 2 database teams managing Sky's corporate estate.Open-mindedness in a fast-paced, dynamic 24x7 environment.Strong communication and relationship management skills.Our benefits :At Sky, we support you to achieve your best.
