About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice to support business operations, mitigating potential liabilities, and upholding corporate governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Collaborate with engineering and management teams to address complex cases and provide informed legal counsel.
* Analyze and manage disputes related to construction projects, identifying opportunities for resolution and minimizing financial exposure.
Compliance and Governance
* Ensure that all SECO entities comply with relevant statutory documents, RCS, and local regulations.
* Prepare and facilitate Board of Directors meetings, providing critical information and guidance.
* Oversee internal procedures and ensure they align with local regulations, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Coordination and Cross-Functional Role
* Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner.
* Work closely with the General Manager, HR Department, and operational teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
* Promote awareness of legal matters through training sessions, enhancing the knowledge and skills of colleagues across the organization.
