Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Management: Lead the ESMC-GSM team – comprising a Security Operation Manager and an IT Security Manager – and foster a strong security culture throughout the organization. Hold full ownership of ESMC security management, ensuring all controls align with HQ GSM standards and comply with local German law. Participate in recruitment, selection and onboarding of key security personnel. Establish, implement and operate ITS, PIP and Physical Security in Germany, supported by HQ GSM. Develop and implement security policies, processes, standards and guidelines based on ISO 27001, ISO 15408 and business needs. Ensure compliance with all relevant TSMC security standards and local German regulations. Report directly to the ESMC Head and dotted‑line report to the HQ GSM Head, James Tu. IT Cyber Security (Supported by HQ ITS): Oversee implementation of cyber‑security solutions and defence strategies in line with HQ GSM guidelines. Manage cyber‑security incident detection, response and adherence to policies. Assess maturity, conduct training and awareness programs, manage supply‑chain cyber‑security and evaluate risks. TSMC Proprietary Information Protection (PIP): Lead data protection programmes and enhance physical security. Develop and implement PIP policies and regulations. Design data‑protection solutions and technical planning for physical security. Oversee deployment of security systems in new facilities. Promote insider‑threat awareness, training and incident investigation. Conduct customer security audits (ISO 15408 and certification) and risk assessments. Lead ESMC PIP sponsors. Physical Security (Design, Engineering & Assurance, Management): Design and oversee the physical security architecture for Fab24, in accordance with HQ GSM standards and local building codes. Evaluate, audit and ensure effectiveness of physical security measures. Manage security guard operations and site operational security. Ensure executive protection and special‑event security. Prevent property and PIP loss. Develop and implement emergency response plans. Engage early in all construction phases to ensure compliance with security requirements. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT Security, Engineering, Risk Management). At least 3 years of experience leading teams. At least 5 years of experience in information security. At least 7 years of working experience in Europe. Proven experience in recruitment and team building for security roles. Proven experience on large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder international projects, ideally within the semiconductor industry. Familiarity with data protection regulations, policies and implementation. Strong knowledge of information security, risk assessment and project management. Additional information security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPP are a plus. Excellent management and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in talent acquisition and team development. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work under pressure, be detail‑oriented and prioritise complex challenges. Strategic thinking and proactive security advice. Analytical, collaborative and self‑motivated. Independent judgement, proactive, fast learner and responsive. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (B2) and English (B2) – mandatory. Conversational Mandarin is a plus.
