Statutory and group reporting responsibilities will shift to strengthened local finance teams. Youu2019ll make a significant contribution in the following areas: Full responsibility for accounting and reporting in Germany, Austria, Switzerland. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in line with local GAAP and Group policies, including reconciliation between frameworks. Submit monthly reporting and disclosures into COGNOS Controller and other Group reporting channels. Prepare and submit statutory financial statements, income tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory filings. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality working with Global Business Services teams. Implement and maintain Group internal control framework within the entity. Act as primary contact for auditors and authorities; coordinate audits and ensure compliance. Prepare tax packs, analyze permanent and temporary differences. Ensure reconciliations and true-ups of all balance sheet accounts; resolve aged items promptly. Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality. What you will need: Academic degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent. 5 yearsu2019 experience in accounting roles or audit/public accounting within international companies. Strong knowledge of statutory reporting (local GAAP and IFRS), tax compliance, and group consolidation. Experience with and ability to interpret complex accounting issues and closing processes. Structured, methodical approach to workload management, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. A self-driven mindset with a strong focus on delivering results. Strong communication skills, particularly across all levels of Finance. Proficient in SAP, good knowledge of Excel and ideally experience with group reporting tools (e.g., COGNOS).
