We offer a wide range of services mainly based on Ventus patents including Rotor Condition Monitoring, Drone Inspections, nacelle-based LiDAR Measurements, Static and Dynamic Blade Pitch Verification using high-speed camera technology, End-of-Warranty & Taking-Over inspections (EOW & TO) and Dissolved Gas Analysis. CANDIDATE
Are you a detail oriented, proactive leader? Are you interested in renewable energy sector? Are you motivated to building corporate Learning & Development globally? Then you might be a good fit to take the lead over the training and learning activities as well as creation of a corporate academy at Ventus Group globally.
We are looking for a Head of Ventus Academy (m/f/x) who would supervise and coordinate the establishment of the Ventus-based Learning and Development organization and ensure its development in the countries of Ventus presence. This position is based at our headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
Responsibilities
* Establish and supervise the learning organization “Ventus Academy” based on Ventus products and services both for internal and external clients
* Together with the product managers, identify the training needs and make the planning and overview by product/country/client, etc.
* Establish Ventus Academy standards for the training flow and materials, as well as grading and certification of people
* Create a pool of qualified trainers (internally and if required externally), coach and provide them with instructions according to Ventus Academy and quality standards
* Cooperate with product managers and internal trainers on development and improvement of new training programs
* Unify the templates for training materials and ensure that all internally created materials are in place and in line with the Ventus templates
* Develop the grading system of the training results and skills acquired, as well as elaborate an approach to Ventus Academy certification
* Plan and coordinate the training delivery within the Ventus Academy standards, monitor the progress against the agreed plans and schedules, and prepare the respective reports. Ensure that planned deadlines and costs are aligned with the agreed contracts.
* Ensure regular client feedback collection, and based on the feedback provide continuous improvement of Ventus Academy programs
* Maintain a high level of service, thus establishing solid and long-lasting relations with all stakeholders
* Promotion of the Ventus Academy, together with promotion of Ventus Engineering as a certified Organization
Qualifications
* Studies in the field of project management and/or engineering and/or relevant educational activities, wind energy, or other relevant education
* Min. 2 years of working experience in the operations management for the wind energy service industry, or experience in project coordination and/or leading corporate Learning & Development in another industry
* Understanding project management processes: creating project schedules, recovery and mitigation plans, handling project communication between customer and execution staff, etc.
* Confident handling of time-critical project work and short deadlines
* Experience and/or interest in the field of renewable energy, and specifically in wind turbines is a plus
* Excellent time management and planning skills, high affinity for numbers and structured, analytical way of thinking and ability to multi-task
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Good written and spoken English skills required, as this is the corporate working language
* Well-organized, team worker, with a customer-oriented approach, curious, resourceful, and with a problem-solving attitude to work

* According to the Austrian law we must indicate the minimum gross annual salary for this position, which would be € 46.000 (based on 40 hours/week, 14 salary checks), however, we are ready to pay more depending on your qualification, experience and individual competencies.
