WHAT YOU’LL DO The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience. Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needsPerform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spacesPerform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious mannerProvide field service support of networked devicesCollaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPLUnderstand and adhere to local safety standards for all site dutiesProvide job site documentation and end user training as neededSetup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems.Travel to various job sites as requiredBe fully competent with the use of end-user AV equipmentSet up and teardown of all scheduled onsite meetings, supervise meetings as requiredDaily system checks to ensure equipment and room functionalityLiaise with client teams to agree daily talks and activitiesResponsible for identifying defective / failed equipment and owns issues until resolvedWorks in cooperation with client and AVI SPL support teams to provide remediation primary interface to manufacturers; developers; engineers and project managers in support of identifying and implementing resolutions for system issuesDelivers a “white glove” level of customer support to all clientsEnsures all AVS spaces are presentable for usePerforms other AV related tasks as directed by customerManage onsite support deliverablesScheduled Preventative Maintenance Visits for consistent identification and repair of defective equipmentManage and maintain consumables & stock holding inventory of on-site spares Items to Consider: AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.
