Electronic Sales Trader - New York
Your role in the team:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Sales Trader to join our US Markets division. The role sits at the intersection of client coverage, trading technology, and market microstructure, supporting institutional clients in optimising their execution through advanced algorithmic and program trading solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with Sales Trading, Quantitative Research, Trading Technology, and Product teams to deliver best-in-class electronic execution services, while helping clients navigate increasingly complex market structures.
What will you do?
* Managing and monitoring live algorithmic and program trades
* Engaging with clients on execution strategy selection and market conditions
* Analysing execution performance and trading analytics
* Coordinating with quantitative researchers and developers on algorithm improvement or client customisation
* Reviewing liquidity trends, venue performance and market developments
Who are we looking for?
* Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required
* First years’ experience in Electronic Sales Trading within a broker-dealer and Series 7TO, 57, 63 required
* Good knowledge of electronic trading infrastructure and advanced IT skills required
* Strong communication skills, ability to foster relationships and to cooperate effectively
* Integrity and accountability – Maintaining the highest standards of market conduct and risk management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as high attention to detail
* Curiosity about markets and technology – Embracing the evolving nature of Electronic Trading

Salary will vary based on role, education, level of experience, and expertise ranging between (i.e $200,000 to $230,000) dollars as a base salary with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus plus comprehensive benefits package.
