The Marketing Associate is a position in Travelzoo’s German Marketing team. Key Responsibilities: • Support with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as, event, social media, or content marketing. • Coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral. • Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management. • Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts. • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness • Motivated to plan, create, and schedule content for all major social media platforms to drive traffic and engagement • Driven to work to develop creative assets and ensure they conform to brand guidelines • Capable of troubleshooting and making editorial suggestions about how and what to post on social media during periods of quick-changing information • Keen to respond and interact with our member community to build brand loyalty • Determined to keep up to date with social media developments and drive channel innovation • Confident to help the team with campaign set-ups across all key marketing and PR channels • Dedicated to managing day-to-day campaign reporting and analysis to help improve performance • Empowered to get involved in all content-marketing initiatives to support team objectives and priorities • Inspired by an agile environment that provides opportunities for learning new skills and changing priorities as the market moves • Empowered to collaborate with cross-functional and global colleagues to coordinate and align on key projects • Able to regularly identify trends in the wider market through regular reading of relevant publications and competitor monitoring Competencies: • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow. • Excellent organizational skills and ability to successfully handle multiple projects with varied timelines. • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Act and think in a smart way by keeping a cool head. • Be a master in getting things done, even under time pressure. • Lead by example. • Care about others by displaying a warm heart.
