Healthcare Professional - Epidemiology Specialist
This role involves conducting epidemiological surveys in Luxembourg, focusing on the general population, healthcare workers, and waste management personnel. The successful candidate will be involved in PARC, a European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and executing epidemiological surveys to gather data on human biological samples and environmental factors;
* Recruiting participants, providing information about the study, and obtaining informed consent;
* Contacting participants and planning field visits to collect questionnaire/interview data and human biological samples;
* Assisting in preparing materials for field visits and ensuring data accuracy;
* Administering questionnaires, following up on questions, and ensuring completion;
* Collecting and processing human biological samples, including blood, urine, hair, and saliva, during field visits.
Requirements:
* Diploma in nursing (Bachelor) recognized in Luxembourg with authorization to practice;
* Experience in collecting human biological samples and questionnaire/interview data, preferably in Luxembourg;
* Teamwork experience and individual task ownership;
* Fluency in French or German, with basic knowledge of English;
* Driving license type B required;
* Knowledge of public health and/or epidemiological field work considered an asset;
* Knowledge of Luxembourgish language considered an asset.
At the final stages of the recruitment process, the successful candidate will be asked to provide supporting documentation, such as diplomas and certificates of employment, and an official criminal record for consultation purposes.
