Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our growing Legal and Compliance team. The role offers cross-border exposure across two key jurisdictions – Germany and the UK. The role will focus on assisting in the management of our global compliance monitoring programme, covering a broad range of activities across the firm, as well as employee-level compliance on a global scale. There’s also a strong horizon scanning element, making it a great opportunity for someone who would like a wide-angle view of regulatory developments and their impact on an international business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Legal and Compliance Director in ensuring the Firm complies with all relevant UK and German regulatory requirements.
* Assist with regulatory filings and maintaining compliance records.
* Assist with administering the compliance monitoring programme.
* Assist in internal and external audits, helping to address findings and implementing corrective actions.
* Manage employee level compliance (PADs, gifts and entertainment, outside business interests).
* Support the creation, implementation and review of the compliance policies and procedures tailored to UK and Germany.
* Assist with preparation of the regular compliance reports and updates for senior management.
* Assist with providing support to internal stakeholders.
* Assist in delivering training for new joiners, designing annual compliance training and helping promote awareness of compliance requirements.
* Assist with managing local advisors and legal counsel.
* Assist with monitoring regulatory developments in the UK and Germany.
Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry
Skills:
* Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken) is required.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organisation.
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
