Your area of work:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Expert to join our tax team at our Eschborn office. You will play a significant role in managing and optimizing our tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and supporting the financial well-being of the organization.
Your responsibilities:
1. Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other relevant tax obligations
2. Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax provisions, financial statements, and related disclosures for internal and external reporting purposes
3. Advisory Support: Provide tax guidance to various departments within the organization, assisting in decision-making processes and transactional matters
4. Tax Audits: Support coordination and management of tax audits and inquiries, collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary
5. Tax Research: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, assess their impact on the organization, and provide guidance accordingly
6. Compliance Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of internal tax compliance processes and controls, recommending improvements as needed
7. SAP: Determine VAT classifications as part of the new service process, including tax expert reviews required for technical ERP implementations (e.g., Sales and Distribution and Material Management in SAP/S4 HANA)
Your profile:
8. Completed university studies in economics or law or equivalent. Advanced degree or relevant tax certifications (e.g., CPA, Tax Advisor) preferred.
9. Several years of tax-related experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or a tax advisory firm.
10. Practical experience in managing international branches and subsidiaries as strong plus.
11. Strong knowledge of international tax laws and regulations (focus countries IE, UK, and CZ).
12. Proficiency in tax software and financial systems (SAP ERP systems, preferably S4/Hana).
13. Business fluent in German and English.
14. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
